I’m losing faith in Movable Type. I changed layouts, started fiddling with the comment page, now everything is FUBR. Halelujah.

So, first I’m fighting for W3C to accept my li’l page for what it is, but NOOOOOO, I have to make myself bald by all the pulling of hair before it manages to tell me what is wrong. But as it is, I did manage. In the end.

Thus, I may now declare that W3C does indeed not hate me anymore. Ashke.nu now validates XHTML 1.0. *does a little dance*

I still don’t really know what to do about the pages beside the weblog. Let’s NOT get into the weblog, I may just kill something before I get to a conclusion what to do about the publishing problems (she said after deleting 300 spam comments and making un-undoable changes to things that should not be touched). But, it’s a bit sad how empty everything is nowadays. My blog is even getting emptier. Out of frustration, mostly, as we are, infact, still talking about me being livid about blog things in general. Yeah, couldn’t be a moment without raving and rampaging about it.

Well, I have now been awake for far too long, and as I do have a life (or so I try to tell myself), and have a few errands I should take care of tomorrow, I really should get a bit of sleep. I just might have to postpone these errands, as my waking hours have again drawn themselves into being late and dark hours. I blame the influenza, which completely FU my daily routines. But alas, somehow I find myself back at square one.

Have been sick entire week. On Tuesday my fever reached as high as 40°C (104F). Doctor gave me painkillers to take down the fever. It worked but now I’m perspiring to the point that I fear I will melt. Or shrivel up. Throat hurts, coughing so much I can’t sleep well. Nose is running like the Niagara Falls. Or something. Can’t take a shower either, because I’m almost certain that is what made my fever get to 40 degrees in the first place. I feel quite positively disgusting.

So. No school this week. Nor the next, because it’s winter holidays. No lessons are held at all. Will have time enough to rest. But mum won’t let me exercise. Not that I’d have the energy to. But I’ll be back at square one when I am fit enough to continue.

I can’t say that I can afford to complain, since only last week I said in class ‘why does everyone else get sick, but me? I want a good nice fever. Then I’d have a good reason to really just do nothing.’ Well, karma all over. I guess I asked for it. I will now face wrath of God, and getting what I asked for.

I have upgraded Movable Type as a last resort against the massive comment spamming I *personally* have suffered. It took me 20 mins to delete all spam comments, so now, I have decided I want my commenters to register. You don’t have to, of course, but if you don’t, I have to manually approve your comments. Which is just as fine by me.

If I can’t get a full stop to the comment spamming, I will officially switch completely over to Livejournal.

This is a warning. I ain’t putting up with this for much longer.
