sick and prosperous
Friday, October 1st, 2004Life has been prosperous. Two weeks by, I’ve had the time to be sick, be late, be a failure, and have a migraine for two days straight. So far.
Other than my nice trip to hell last weekend (also known as feeverish delusions and a head that weighs a ton) I don’t have much to write about. Pal convinced me to take a few days off school to get better. I tell that to myself to minimize the guilt. However, all week, guess what we’ve been doing. Learning *drumroll* PHOTOSHOP! Yay! RUDIMENTARY PHOTOSHOP. (And this is the undo button, and this is I’m not sure what it is, but it looks nifty.) And the version we’re working on is 5.5. Exciting! I love my 7.0.
Besides, the pictures I had to work with were terrible, so it didn’t do much for egging on the ‘creative me’. I, once again, just rushed through the assignments and surfed the internet the rest of the time. On 28kbps speed! GAAAAAH! I’m so spoiled! I want to complain all the time and protest everything and not do anything. I’m pissy and furious and bored. And I feel guilty about it. This sucks a lot.
And I’m broke. Luckily, Pal’s had payday yesterday. We’ve got tickets for a hockey game tonight, which I’m not very excited about, but we’re not taking the car which means a lot of things. *winkwinknudgenudge*
Now I’m going to go nurse my terrible headache and my guilty conscience.
And thank you guys for thinking I DO have a life, though I have a hard time to believe you. Plugs, plugs, plugs: Kathryn, Geamy, Danny, and Marion who has a wonderful new layout.
