Busy, as usual
Sunday, May 16th, 2004We cleaned out our closets today, literally man! We took four big garbage bags to this salvation army kind of thingy. I’ve done laundry all day, washed dishes all week, cleaned up messes all month. I still have to write my essays. And there are still two hampers full of clothes that need to be washed, and two bags of bedsheets and towels etc. I have one machine loaded with laundry already so I’ll only have to turn the washer on in the morning (afternoon!). We still haven’t vacuumed, so we have dog and cat hair circling around on the floor. And dust. And bread crumbs. Dirt.
I sent in my university applications this week. Let’s hope the test thingies go well and they at least accept me into one place. Or I’ll be bored out of my mind the whole year. Thumbs up. Though I’m still on my first book. It’s like I can’t be bothered to read when I get home from work. I read half a chapter on the way to work, but usually I take the same subway home with Pal, so I don’t get to read on the way home. If I’m lucky, I finish the chapter on my lunch break. So I only have three more books to read. And a historical era to study. Yay.
So, tomorrow I’ll have to write my essays, and return them on Monday. I’ll drive to school, then home, and then take the subway to work. It’s too expensive to park in the city, so it’s cheaper if I take the subway. I can park for free at school, though, so, preferably, I’ll drive. I only forgot to mention at work I’ll come in a bit later. Oops. I’m a scatterbrain, obviously. I mustn’t forget to book an appointment at the hairdresser, either. I want to look presentable on the last day of my s.c. life, don’t I? I already got an appointment to get my nails done. Finally! Vain as I am.
Oh yeah, I opened the Lord of the Flies fanlisting. Check it out, if the stupid subdomain decides to work!
