A little late, but hey…

FRIDAY FIVE
1. When was the last time you laughed?
A few hours ago, I was watching a Danny Kaye movie. *grin*

2. Who was the last person you had an argument with?
My sister, we were arguing about who should be doing the cleaning.

3. Who was the last person you emailed?
Umm, accroding to my outbox, Sarah of Liftoff. It was about an affiliation with my Ludo Bagman fanlisting.

4. When was the last time you bathed?
Took a bath? Umm, probably a week ago. We don’t have a tub at home, but I borrowed the one at my friend’s. ^_^

5. What was the last thing you ate?
Weetos. Yum. I love those crispy little things.

Yet again, I’m not sleeping. It’s 2 AM, and I slept till 4 PM yesterday. Figures I have a hard time sleeping. Well, I haven’t exactly tried, but…I got excited with my computer.

Tomorrow (or today, actually) I’m finally seeing POTC! I should call my friend later today about when we should meet up. The movie isn’t until 10 something PM, but the tickets need to be picked up at least an hour before, since we booked them, so…I’m excited, I haven’t been at the movies since Matrix: Reloaded. That’s a LOOOONG time ago. So sue me, I’ve been working all summer.

I tried to do some cleaning today, but I still have most things undone. I arranged my course books, and went through a boxfull of papers and such, and arranged them into their proper folder. Most of them were school stuff, so it wasn’t that much to do, really, the sorting was most tedious. Still, I need to sort my mags, clean my closets, again, most of my clothes are just lying there in heaps, all wrinkled and stuff. Then I need to take out my old clothes either to the UFF box, or to the flea-market. There’s a sack-full of clothes in the corner of my room, taking up an enormous amount of space. Oh yeah, I need to clean out my drawers, dry off the dust off my shelves and books, and of course, vacuum. Then I could rearrange my CDs, my books are alright, they’re arranged alphabetically by author…and then I could clean out my computer! My folders are a mess!

Oh bother. What a load of things to do.

*sulking*

Well, there it is, school has started again. Fortunately, I only have lectures during the day on Tuesday and Thursday. I have one remaining week of my Maths course, which is from 5PM to 7:20PM. My sleeping routine is from hell. This week, I’ve gone to sleep around 5.30-6.00AM, slept till 3.00-4.00PM then went to school. And then I stay up till 5AM again. Lovely.

My books are still waiting to be read, they are lying on the floor, probably feeling very neglected and offended by me mistreating them. What can I do? My head starts pounding as soon as I start to think about them. SO, today is Thursday, so I probably should be try to get some shut eye before I need to leave. I feel like not going, though. I just pity myself, feeling queasy in the stomach, and a little lightheaded. Probably from lack of sleep. I’m going though. I know I have to. Doesn’t comfort me one bit.

I hate this never ending evil circle of stress. Yet again, I have a thousands of things I still need to do, and around a million of other things I’d want to do. Yes, they are conflicting with each other. Is that a surprise?

Oh well, I’m seeing Pirates of the Caribbean on Saturday with a couple of friends, so at least I have something to look forward to. Oh yeah, and I wanna go shop for a new jacket. And shoes.

I have made a new layout for Tempera ages ago, but I thought it, at the time, unpractical. I have now, however, come to the conculsion that I still want to use it, because of the graphics. I’m just unhappy that I made the frame for the images/thumbnails the smallest! How stupid of me! I wasn’t thinking at the time, obviously. I think I’ll either solve it with pop ups, or perhaps edit the layout to fit that frame a little better. You can check it out here, it’s still in working progress so none of the main links work, but if you have any suggestions they are more than welcome. Oh, and it’s made to fit 1024×768, I’ll probably have to change it completely. Maybe I won’t use it at all…Or maybe I’ll rotate the image to be left-aligned and vertical instead of horizontal…We’ll see.

New Layout

Tuesday, August 12th, 2003

Well, I made a new layout. The previous one was just growing too old and lame. So I whipped up one with beautiful Aragorn. Whee, only, what, four months till the premiere of Return of the King! I’m excited already!

Ahem. Yes. It’s 6:30 in the morning, I haven’t slept at all, so excuse my giddiness. I’m in desperate need of sleep.

Only 11 hours till my school starts again. What a disappointment. I was getting used to my vacation.

hoooooome

Friday, August 8th, 2003

I’m home! Yay! Well, actually, I’ve been home since Saturday, but oh well, I’ve been busy. Or so I think.

My legs are all achy from two days of workout. I haven’t been at the gym for about 6 months, so now that I got my card renewed, I’ve been trying to increase my physical condition. It’s, of course, not even near what it was a year ago, but I’ll get there. But the beginning is always the toughest. Hope I’ll have time to go there more often, even though the new semester begins next week.

That reminds me; I can’t believe I only have this week left of my vacation. Where did my holiday go? Working. Oh joy. But what do you not do for extra cash, huh? Still, I have hundreds of thousands of millions of billions of gazillions things to do, like study for my exams. Naming only one thing…I even bought new highlight pens, those nifty neon thingies. They’re so cool, they make reading so much more fun when you get to paint your school books pink and blue and yellow…I’m so mature, I know. But I simply don’t understand why they insist on writing all course books so incredibly boring. Because they’re not supposed to be entertaining, right? Well, they certainly succeeded. Anyway. I’m only halfway through my first book (shame on me, shame on me!) so I still have a long way to go. There are five. And perhaps two more, I haven’t decided yet. Probably not. Well, a math course starts on, er, Tuesday I think, so I’ll be super busy from then till mid September. Eek, I’m feeling the stress build up. I’ve had nightmares already. It was about me failing the exams, and being extremely pissed about it. Oh, another dream was about driving a car, though I don’t have my licence yet, and not knowing how to drive. I was panicking, big time, driving up a road that wasn’t a road anymore. Some roadmen had pulled it open and had a huge truck in the way, and I had to pass it and try not to kill myself. Oh yeah, this dream also included me almost reversing the car onto sombody. I hope he didn’t die.

So, I’m really pissed, because there’s a history class (basic law) I can’t take because of a French class that is at the same time. I’d much prefer the history class, but I can’t miss an French course without falling seriously behind, so I have to give up the extra history. Boo. I have about 15 courses I have to do this year, which isn’t that much. So I’m especially pissed that once I have more time to do something, everything happens to fall on the same period of time. My dumb luck, I guess.
But I’m quite happy, I only have the languages left, thre courses in Swedish, and three courses in Finnish. Oh, and three in French, and one in English, which’ll be in the first 7-week-period. So, that leaves only philosophy left, and two math courses. I have no idea how I’ll get my 15th course, especially since I can’t take that history class. I’ll probably end up taking an advanced class in science or something. Blech.

I’m still extremely happy and feel really accomplished. I’ll graduate in the spring from two schools, and one of them in only two years. So, however things fall out, I can feel proud of having got something done. This is only the last part of it all, though it’s still the hardest to come. I hope things will go as well as they have thus far.

One happy announcment though. I got the Ludo Bagman fanlisting finished, and I got approved for the Count of Monte Cristo fanlisting. I know, why take on more now that it’s getting extra stressful? I can’t help it, it’s addictive - nothing I can do about it, in other words. Check out The Wimbourne Wasp, the Ludo Bagman fanlisting. I’m quite satisfied with the outcome, considering what I had in the beginning to work with - not much.
