I’ve now changed from greymatter to movabletype, don’t ask why, I’m not yet sure it was worth the trouble. Also, there’s a new layout, but there were a few problems, so I’ll be uploading it later. I’m still upgrading, so stuff’ll be changing during the next weeks.
Well, another thing you might’ve noticed is, I got my computer back. This is a story worth telling, really it is.
They called us from the tech thingy, and told us they’d fixed my computer. I was, of course, thrilled beyond measure. Pal and I asked dad to drive us, since it’s a huge bother to drag a computer across the city. See, these tech-guys are tricky bastards. They make everything sound like they’re doing us a huge favour and everything, we should be happy, and we ARE lucky, that they even exist. Hmpf.
SO, when we get there, they tell us the soundcard is fine. We’d complained about the soundcard not being in proper function, making odd sounds throughout listening to whatever, sound files, or CDs, whatever. Well, figures, when we get back, it still doing those nasty brr, and grrr sounds when playing something. Aggravatingly annoying. ‘S the only expression to describe this feeling. SO, while they are cheating us money, we get our computer back in a NEARLY fixed state. Bastards. I want to pound my head against the wall just when thinking about it. I want to pound THEIR heads against the wall. Imagine listening to your favourite song, and suddenly it sounds like your computer has a case of diarrhoea.
SO, it is weekend after all. I haven’t slept well for over a week, so I’ll be trying to get a li’l more rest during my precious days off. I’ll be checking around for a few updates, perhaps play a little Sim City, but not much more. I haven’t deleted Greymatter, so you can still find the archives in the right column as ‘old archives’. If yer interested, that is. *grin*
